Please review the following track day guidelines.
GENERAL RULES
- All participants must be at least 18 years of age.
- ABSOLUTELY NO DRUGS OR ALCOHOL PERMITTED
- Friends and family are welcome to attend.
- You must obey all posted pit speeds. (will be covered in riders’ meeting)
- There is no stopping on the track for any reason.
- Follow procedure as covered in riders’ meeting.
- The crew reserves the right to dictate what group you ride in.
- YOU MUST ATTEND THE RIDERS’ MEETING – NO EXCEPTIONS
PERSONAL EQUIPMENT NEEDED
- Helmet
- Undamaged, full-face DOT, SNELL, or European standard approved, with eye protection.
- No flip-up helmets allowed.
- Riding Suit
- Leather or textile (Cordura, Kevlar, or Aerostich Type)
- No textile in advanced group.
- 2 piece suits must zip together; full circumference.
- Anything mesh (able to see skin through) is NOT Permitted
- No sparky knee pucks
- Sturdy Over-the-Ankle Leather Boots
- Recommend motorcycle style boots.
- Leather Gauntlet Style Gloves
- Must not allow any skin showing on wrists.
- Recommend added protection in impact areas.
- Back Protector Recommended
- Required for Advanced group.
- Beginner Group Only
- Jeans / Pants designed for street riding are allowed.
- Must be reinforced in “impact” areas.
- Must have some sort of built in or removable armor in knees.
- Please use common sense. Would you risk sliding across the pavement at 100+ MPH in these pants?
TECH INSPECTION
- Coolant
- Advanced group must change to water / water wetter.
- Water wetter is the only additive permitted.
- Beginner and intermediate groups may run standard coolant.
- Intermediate group strongly recommended to change to water / water wetter.
- Coolant / Antifreeze is VERY slippery in the event of a crash it can be very hazardous to other riders. It is also difficult to clean up. Please strongly consider switching to water / water wetter.
- Bodywork
- Must be secure with no loose parts or fasteners.
- In good general condition.
- All lights and reflectors must be taped over or removed.
- Intermediate and advanced groups must remove mirrors.
- Front fender required.
- Engine
- No fuel or oil leaks.
- In good general working order.
- Brakes
- Pad wear
- Fluid level
- No Leaks
- Hoses in good condition.
- Front brake lever does not touch handlebar when pulled.
- Chassis / Suspension
- Steering
- Exhaust (all bikes must have working muffler)
- Foot pegs
- Shift / Brake linkages working properly.
- All levers must have ball on end. (clutch / brake)
- Smooth throttle movement; must auto-return.
- Fork / Shock leaks
- Chain and sprocket.
- Tape over stick-on wheel weights.
If something doesn’t pass tech inspection, you will be given a chance to fix it.
NO REFUNDS WILL BE GIVEN IF YOU DON’T PASS TECH INSPECTION
